There's a reason why this restaurant, despite being located in a very hard-to-park location, is always busy. Unlike the dozens of Vietnamese restaurants on Hampshire Road, this one offers the speciality Vietnamese dish, Banh Cuon, steamed rice noodles filled with a mince pork mixture. To eat this dish, simply take a small bit of everything on the plate, mix it into your bowl, pour in a bit of the Vietnamese sauce and take in a mouthful! Then enjoy the prawn hashbrown to add a bit of extra crunch. The green papaya salad with chilli beef salad is also to die for! Very few places in Melbourne offer Banh Cuon, namely due to the technical skills and time required to prepare each dish so us 3020ers are incredibly lucky to have it at our doorstep.
