This was our first taste of Sri Lankan cuisine and we weren't disappointed. We've been told that this place is pretty authentic, but given we know almost nothing about this cuisine, we went in blind, ordered 6 curries and just tried our luck.
For just $10 for 3 curries (2 veg and 1 meat) plus your choice of dosai/parotta/hoppers, you really get bang for your buck here. Thankfully if you're a total novice like us, they have all their curries on display do you can simply point to the one you're after.
Curries range from mild to very spicy so make sure you ask if you have a preference. All 6 we tried were delicious and perfectly seasoned.
By midday you'll find the place full of locals who have clearly all been here before.
