Opening several months before a pandemic is not ideal, however these guys have thankfully managed to survive. Anh & Em is a modern Vietnamese restaurant with a much smaller menu than most along others along Hampshire road, meaning you're more likely to pick something you've never tried before!
You might recognize this joint as the one with the bubble tea frontage and groups of Vietnamese men sitting at the front all day sipping Vietnamese coffee
We ordered 3 dishes and they were all delicious, our favourite was the extra crispy roast pork with woven rice vermicelli. You eat it by firstly getting a piece of lettuce, filling it with the vermicelli then the pork and herbs and finally dipping it in the Nuoc Cham (special Vietnamese fish sauce).
