Here at 'Sunshine Locals', we love businesses which promote sustainability, which is why The Eco Factory is right up our alley. Christine Draper and Jeremy Townsend have turned what was previously a hobby into a wonderful business which has been running for nearly 5 years . These guys are local artists who revive pre-loved items turning them into stunning one-of-a-kind pieces. They stock anything from rustic ladders to suitcases, couches to vases. Pretty much anything they can salvage and bring a new life to, they have.
They have a strong 'no waste' ethos and believe in reusing as much as we can.
When you enter this place, you'll have no idea where to start because there is something incredible hidden in every corner. Art fans and museum buffs will absolutely LOVE this place!
They have customers visiting from all over Melbourne and even hire out some items by request (especially to photographers). Open every Saturday from 10am-5pm or by appointment during weekdays.
